About Tree of Life
Frank Lloyd Wright's Tree of Life is a striking stained glass window design that exemplifies his philosophy of organic architecture. Wright designed the windows for the reception room and second-floor bedrooms of the Darwin D. Martin House in Buffalo, New York, and are among the most iconic motifs in his body of work. While there is no evidence that Wright or the Martin family referred to the design by this popular name, it aptly captures the geometric pattern of diagonal "branches" that culminate in colorful "leaves."
About Frank Lloyd Wright
