The work of Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959) is recognized worldwide as pivotal to the development of modern architecture. Through a deep understanding of our relationship with the natural world, Wright’s ideas and designs were inspired by organic forms. His vision, “to make life more beautiful, the world a better one for living in, and to give rhyme, reason, and meaning to life” is carried on through the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and represented on the World Heritage List.
About the brand...Carly Quinn Designs was founded in 2011 with the vision of bringing new life to the age-old art form known as Cuerda Seca. Based in Tucson, Arizona, we are one of a handful of studios worldwide using this tile glazing technique.
Our tiles are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, hand-glazed by our talented local artists, and fired at 2,000 degrees to ensure they become lasting works of art. Each tile is truly unique, with subtle glaze variations that add to the inherent beauty of every piece. We are not a mass-production facility; our pieces carry the element of human touch, meaning no two are exactly alike.
