This aptly named decorative tile commemorates the 150th anniversary of Mr. Wright's birth on June 8, 1867. The artwork is derived from the art glass window design from a house he built for Avery Coonley in 1912, which used to house Coonley's wife's kinder school. The bold geometry in primary colors in this design, appear to be influenced by Wright's affection for a parade. In his long career, Wright's creative ability extended far beyond the border of architecture to graphic design, furniture, art glass, textiles, and decorative elements for the home. Actual tile size: 5-13/16" x 10-13/16". Tiles are 5/8" thick and have a notch at the back for hanging. Handcrafted by Motawi Tile. Made in U.S.A.
